This year Madison decided to dress up like a salsa dancer. She originally chose to be a Can-Can girl, but as hair and final touches on her costume were complete she looked more like a salsa dancer. So, that's what we went with. I put her hair in a side bun and she chose to wear a skirt from last years dance recital. Before we knew it, the transformation was complete!
After many different ideas, I decided on a pajama set for Emmalene. I figured she would be more comfortable that way. We had to take a quick photo with the hat on since that would probably be the last time she'd let us get in on her head.

We headed to the football field for the annual fall festival headed up by the Merchants Association. They had booths around the track where the kids could stop and play games or complete a craft for candy. This was really geared towards younger kids, so we promised Madison we'd stop by a get her some candy later. Don't worry, Grandma took care of that! We all got candy and we've been muching on way more than we should!!

Next year she'll be able to participate more!
Madison had a good time looking at all of the little kids in their costumes. We saw a dinosaur, police officer, princess, and lots more.

After the festival, we headed to see Great Grandma. We stopped at KFC for a bucket meal and went to Grandma and Grandpa's for dinner. After that, we stopped in to see Granny. On the way home, Bruce took us by a house that was decorated for Halloween. Lots and lots of yard art - that's putting it nicely!
Emmalene fell asleep shortly after being buckled in.
